Created by the team behind Pinewood Social, a Nashville institution for over a decade, Pinewood Coffee extends that same warmth and intentionality into the rhythms of everyday life.
Born in Franklin, Tennessee, and roasted locally at Monarch Showroom, Pinewood Coffee reflects a blend of hospitality and craftsmanship. Every bag embodies a sense of community and creativity, bringing thoughtful coffee to cafés, restaurants, and homes alike.

Our Story
Pinewood Coffee Co began as a natural extension of Pinewood Social, where hospitality and connection have shaped Nashville’s community for more than a decade. Built by the same team that made Pinewood Social a beloved gathering place, Pinewood Coffee carries that same spirit of care into the everyday ritual of coffee.
Roasted in Franklin, Tennessee, at Monarch Showroom, our coffee is crafted with intention—from sourcing at origin to every cup poured. Led by Jake Sudduth and Robbie Melton, our small team combines hospitality, design, and roasting expertise to bring approachable specialty coffee to cafés, restaurants, and homes across the Southeast.

Our Philosophy
Coffee connects people. That idea guides everything we do, from how we source and roast, to how we serve and share. We believe great coffee shouldn’t be exclusive or intimidating; it should feel warm, human, and accessible.
Our roasting philosophy balances science and soul. We preserve a coffee’s distinct character and clarity while creating approachable blends that fit daily life. It’s not about chasing trends, it’s about making coffee that feels right in any setting: at home, at work, or around a table with friends.
We think of coffee as a medium for connection, one that rewards curiosity, celebrates craft, and invites everyone in.
From Origin to Cup
Sourcing & Roasting
We work with producers who share our belief that care belongs in every step of the process. Our early partnerships include Costa Rica’s Hacienda La Minita, a renowned estate that pairs exceptional quality with social responsibility, offering workers housing, healthcare, childcare, and education.
Each roast begins with appreciation for the producer’s work and ends with respect for the drinker’s experience. Our blends balance consistency and comfort, while our single origins highlight nuance and exploration. Whether you prefer something bold and chocolatey or bright and fruit-forward, each batch is roasted to reveal (not disguise) the coffee’s natural character
